describe the vibration, is it a noise, or is it something you only feel.

if noise, is it like a buzz, or click, click, click?

It's got some noise and gets loud in the cab only and not any engine noise. It's only while the truck is in idle in gear with the brake on.
thanks for the reply

I have recently developed the same noise or similar vibration. I believe my aftermarket downpipe is touching the framerail.

If your downpipe is original, chances are that it's not your problem.

Inspect your motor mounts, the engine could be sitting on the chassis.
At idle you will get the vibration in the cab.

Check it ASAP because when the left side mount is bad and the engine drops, the oil cooler line drops also, then it could rub on the front differential.

I have a buzzing/vibrating sound as well that only happens when stopped and in gear with the brakes applied. I have found that if I wedge my fingers in between the dash and the driver door panel the sound stops. Give it a shot.
