Windshield Wiper Arm Removal 2004 HD Silverado

Theres a nut (13mm) holding the arm on the splined stem. This is easy, but the dern arm will not come off, and I don't want to Fawk it up trying. Is there a trick to removing these, or a hidden latch, clip, whatnot?

no special trick but a wiper arm puller works great!!! I'm pretty sure they sell them at the parts stores but mine came off a tool truck.

I persuaded it off by holding a flat screwdriver underneath putting pressure on it, and smacking it with a heavy piece of aluminum I have. Popped right off.

I didn't know they made such a tool. I'm just an amateur...
