I'm about ready to order a gauge/pillar package. I want something drop-dead cool. Right now, I am torn between the autometer lunar series, and the Isspro EV marine (white face, blue pointer).

I cant find any good pictures of these gauges at night. I saw a really crappy pic of isspro on a Mopar diesel site, but they were a screen capture from a video, so you can imagine the picture quality.

If anyone has the gauges, I sure would appreciate seeing a picture of them at night.

Thanks!
Tim

you want something "drop dead cool"? have I got some suggestions for you! Seeing as I race imports, I know of a few gauges that provide awesome feedback, and look beautiful- question is... how much do you want to spend per gauge? Apex'i and Greddy come to mind for their stunning work. Here's the part that will really be "drop dead".... 375 for oil temp gauge.... 375 for water temp gauge.... 500 for EGT... you seeing the problem here? But I will say they are worth every penny... if you want a pic of them lit up, let me know!

Yes, I have seen the G'reddy gauges, and while they are "other-side-of-the-pillow" cool, they cost WAY too much.

I have attached the crappy pics that I could find of the isspro EV marine gauges.

Assuming that the price is a wash (close enough, anyways) which do you feel is "cooler"

for the record, I am leaning slightly towareds the isspro.

i can tell you the "lunar" guages are very bright at night, too bright at first. Of course if i use the inst light dimmer, the dash lights becone too dim.
it took some getting used to.

I kind of like the isspro gauges... They don't seem too bright, and they should function well. A guy here in town bought gauges from Autometer and the Pyro was off 500*... wow- guess what happened to his motor?

I've been running the VDO Vision series for 3 years. They match the dash on my 95 (orange needle, white letters and black bezel) and the light level is perfect, they dim right with the dash gauges and are easy on the eyes. The thru-the-bezel lighting system is crisp and sharp. Prices of the temp and boost gauges were less than $30 each when I bought them. Pyro kit was about $130, and included the probe with weld in bung.

I'll try and find some night shots I had and upload them.
