Does anyone know if any 18" wheel/tire combo will fit? Looking at a set of KMC's and Nitto LT285/60/18 that I believe are about 31.5" tall. My truck is stock height and I don't mind trimming the valance if I have to but I really do not want to crank up the torsion bars unless absolutely necessary. Thanks in advance.

A lot depends on the wheel offset whether the tires might hit. Most aftermarket wheels are wider than the stock varieties. That's OK as long as the offset ratio is close to the same as the stock wheels.

Measure from the inside rim to the hub mounting flange. Put that number over the total rim width. This is the offset ratio. When looking at new wheels, regardless of rim width, try for wheels that have the same (or very close) offset ratio.

Aside from helping to reduce tire clearance issues, maintaining the factory offset ratio will preserve the steering/driving qualities of the truck (wander, bump steer, etc.).
