Ok so I thought that all 6.2 came with a DB2 Ip and that they were all mechanically injected. So what is the huge relay doing on the side of my IP? Is it possible somone swapped in a electronic controlled one? If so how can I tell the difference between the two? Thanks,

Not sure what you mean by "huge relay". Got a picture of it? While it is possible a 6.5L EFI system has been installed, it's highly unlikely, if it is and was originally a 6.2L. Post a picture of your pump to be sure.

If it has a throttle cable it's not electronic.

That's probably the TPS for the 700R4 transmission....it controls the lockup function on the torque converter.

fast idle solenoid, right hand side/top of pump (you standing in front of truck looking in)?

Or Cruise control servo, top, big/huge...

Ok Sorry for the massive delay. We have been without internet almost since I posted this. It looks to be the lockup for the TC. I will post pics soon. If it is the lockup can this just be removed.

Thanks again

What transmission are you running? If you have the factory 700R4, you will still need it unless you run an aftermarket TC lockup kit. If you have any other transmission, then you don't need it.

It's hard to get a good picture posted up here but the relay in the foreground of the shot is what I am talking about.

Yep, that's the 700R4 TC lockup TPS. If you're not running this engine in a factory 6.2L and 700 vehicle, just ditch it.
