View Full Version : Blank PRND123 and odometer

The entire display goes blank at times. Sometimes I can bump the dash or hit a bump, it will come back on. Could this be an defective NSBU switch or something with the instrument cluster?

Sounds like the display connection to me. Easy to access, pull dash trim carefully off and trace your wiring harness to the connector.

Has the truck ever been really wet or do you live in a salty/humid environment?

If it were mine, I'd treat the contacts to a light amount of dielectric grease and reassemble.

I live in Houston Texas so humidity for sure, but salty no. I will take a look at the connections.
