can someone explain how to post pics. i have a digital cam, but need a little guidance.

You will need a web based image hosting site. There are a bunch of them. Some free, some pay. I use webshots.com (http://webshots.com), which is a free sight, but it's been pretty good. If you need a lot of space for a lot of images, or really large file sizes, you'll have to use a pay site.


Once you get your pic's uploaded to the site, go to the site in the "public area", view the pic and copy the URL. When posting here, include the URL as a link by clicking on the URL button, or post the image inline by using the "image" button on the new post or reply page.

Remember to keep the image size in mind. Many of us out here are still stuck with dial-up. Not everyone has access to broadband.

Give it a try. If it doesn't work, someone will help you once you get a post started.
