Have you tried the following

Phoenix Casting (http://www.phxgrp.com/transmission.htm)

Foley Engine (http://www.foleyengines.com/FreeTechnicalInfo/DrDieselShopKinks/SAEBellHousings.aspx)

Gilo Engineering (http://www.giloeng.com/adapterparts.htm)

Diesel Engine Motor.com (https://www.dieselenginemotor.com/parts/index.php?action=view&id=974&parentid=974&itemno=235&subcatid=)

Why not keep the T19 as it is close to the same as a T18 and you can get most any TC adapter. IIRC - you can use the Jeep Dana 20 or IH Scout Dana 300 with a texas pattern behind the T19 with the right parts. The T19 came in 4WD IHs also.

Are you sure it is not an SAE bellhousing? Here is a Chart (http://www.garbee.net/%7Ecabell/sae.htm)of the SAE bell sizes.

BTW, Cool Jeep. I have a CJ5, CJ7, Jeepster Commando, and a ZJ which is getting a diesel. Hope to have it on the road before summer. I said that last year too......See link below.

Hey Bigin
Good luck with your conversion. A 3-53 would not be my choice, but it is a good engine.
In 1975 I put a 4-53 in an F250 4WD, with a New Process 435 and a Warner direct/OD in front of the New Process. I still have the truck & use it as a yard donkey. It's really antiquated by todays engineering. Let us know how it works out.

I've had this motor in the jeep for 6 months now and its the best thing thats ever happened to it ...... has alot more power than the jeep 6 and it gets 34 mpg + on the hwy doing 65 to 70 :D.. plus on the trails on wet dist or plug wires to worry about ...here it is in action before the BIG tires
