I'm getting a new 2009 3500 with the 6.6. I intend to get gauges for this vehicle and with respect to the boost gauge, some I see are 0 to 15 and some are 0 to 50. What is the max expected boost under load (4000# cabover camper plus towing Jeep Wrangler) for a stock 6.6 diesel. Thanks,
Bob

I honeslty haven't seen what a LMM maxes out but I'd def get the 50# gauge as I'm sure it's more then 15#.

I usually see 34 - 36 PSI boost on the TECH2. Keep in mind at my elevation, key on engine of boost pressure is 14. So subtract the 14 from the 36 and you get 20. Get the 0 to 50 PSI gauge. :)

I have an Edge Insight and the most I have seen so far is up around 30ish. Haven't had the opportunity to see exactly how high it it will go. But it is definitley higher than what my LB7 did.

A 30 psi gauge is best suited to the Dmax unless you plan to go racing. If you go to a 50 psi gauge, you won't even use 50% of the scale when stock. Any tuning that is OK for a stock trans does not need over 30 psi.

Or do that^^^^. I didn't see he gave that as an option though hence the 0-50# gauge answer.

Thanks for the feedback. The reason I said 0-15 or 0-50 is that I hadn't done enough research yet to realize that 0-30 was an option.
