I have had something happen to me twice. While driving on the highway running about 75MPH my truck misses and will no longer accelerate and the check engine light comes on. If I persist the P/U misses and then RPM's race up like if you were to push in a clutch on a standard P/U. I pulled over and thought I might buy a fuel filter in case it was the problem. While at the parts store they let me borrow an OBD code reader which icame up with a code PO093. They had never heard of it. When I restarted the truck as I was driving the OBD code cleared. The truck ran fine the rest of the 100 miles I had to go to get home. Any one had this problem before? I know now the code is for a large fuel leak detected of course I found no large fuel leak.
