OBDI or OBDII

When did GM switch from OBDI to OBDII (for the 6.5)? I'm looking at a '96 Tahoe next week and just wanted to know in advance.

96. That Tahoe will be OBDII.

96 was the first "full" year, some of the products had OBD2 in 95....camaro is an example.
