looking for 2008 dmax

had a deal hammered out on a 2008 gmc dmax cc long box 4x4. sle2 package with some nice extras. stickered just over 51k.......but for some reason, swape dealer that had truck didnt realize it was sold almost a month ago ! ughhhhhhhh

anyway, looking for a similiar truck, black interior a must, white silver, gray exterior ok.

anyone know where one is hiding ? i and the local dealer scanned inventory accross the country , not many out there...

i m in NJ dealer willing to go up to 300 miles to pickup......if not i ll go get it ! !

Your local GM dealer should be able to locate one in that radius - maybe the options are the limiting factor. Is it the long box that makes it hard to find?

I have heard they are willing to deal lately :)...but I am sure they are cutting back inventory levels as well.

inventory levels are dropping like a red.....long boxs are gone except a few duallies scattered around in north carolina....the 10,000 rebates are helping no doubt.

a 3000 mile search last nite yielded only 21 trucks.
i found another locally but at a crappo dealer, had dealer where i got my 06 from to see if they ll swape/trade. my guy will cut price to the bone and giving me decent for navigator trade in compared to other offers.

a 2008 dmax sle2 cc short box, black on black, z package also....

oddly thou a dealer in CT has 8 truck, 1 short box of great interest, but 2 emails and a phone call later no response....

...might be out of the office, meeting with the banker. I feel for those businesses.

Within the last 4-5 months, a new independent opened up near here - with a lot full of nice clean late model used inventory, maybe 75 cars and trucks. Much bigger footprint than most used car lots in the area.

That takes some kahunas and deep pockets in this downturn. Or some really bad bad timing, and sticking with the plan, rather than adjusting to the realities of what late 2008 became...

Time will tell.

cc is my first choice... but trade might be the glitch on outta state deal.....

dealer told me if i find a gmc.. .. i could get it, drive back and they d take my trade.

Check with Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, IL. They just dropped an eBay listing for a duelly CC DMAX that was pretty well set up. It was a blue-grey color. The Buyitnow was about $35K.

Worth a phone call, maybe.

checked the site out, only one 08 left....but same that i could find locally...and emailed them in case one is tucked away somewhere.....
