My FSD went south a month or so back. since i replaced it my head lights do not work when the truck is turned on aka day light driving. But work fine when i turn them on at night time driving. there is that little light on the dash that says there on though.
What can i check??. i bought the truck in 1999 and they have allways been on 24/7.
did my new FSD change this? Just curious

Check the fuses. There's a fuse that controls the DRL. Offhand, though, I forget if it's in the dash fuse panel or under the hood. I'm not sure why changing the FSD would have popped that fuse, though.

If not the fuse it may the be contact on the parking brake

Fuse was good.
Just a fyi.
The light on the dash says the day time head lights are on but they are not
They work fine when they are turned on by the switch though
