From some searching it seems like the lubrication specialist kit is the "best" way to go on getting rid of the OEM stuff.

My first question is whether or not this is a complete bolt-on app for a 6.2. They only advertise it for the 6.5.

If it is bolt-on, does anyone know if any of these hoses will fit?

The OEM 6.2 Lines are leaps and bounds better (at least in the 82-87 body style and 82-91 suburban/blazer) than the junky quick-connect setup used on the 6.5 and late 6.2 in new body style (not much of these produced though). I think this alone makes up the fact that there are at least two kits available to fix the lines on the 6.5 trucks, and not the 6.2's.

If it were me I'd tell the parts counter you have a civilan 6.2 in a K3500 84 model pickup.

The o-rings are what usually fail on the connection between the lines and the alum lines that pass across the radiator, and then to the radiator hot tank on the passenger's side of the truck.

Or, as mentioned, have a hydralic shop make some, a good hydraulic or farmer's hose shop.
