Hi All
im having problems with the routing of where exactly the fuel lines go,
i know theres the feed and return line from the tank, but i have the older square type filter housing, and theres 4 points of in/outlets,
Theres the inlet on the top Left side
could be water drain on top right side?
backside center i believe goes to the injection pump
and backside bottom i thought might go to the return line tubing

the return line tubing has 2 points of attachment on the tubing that connects the injectors and IP together,
-one goes to the top of the injection pump
i thought second one is for the main return to the tank

sorry to confuse, but i cant seem to find a clear fuel routing chart
can someone clearly tell me exactly where the lines go?

Top is air bleed (should have a plastic plug and small barb tube). Bottom is water drain (should have a plastic plug). The two barbs on the side are inlet/outlet. They should be marked. If not, look at the filter element, it should have inlet/outlet marked near the rubber grommets, just match them.

The two return line points are one for the IP, and one for the injector returns (should be T to connect them, they are daisy-chained). After the T, it returns to the tank.

Fuel tank ==> fuel lift pump ==> filter ==> injection pump ==> return line T ==> tank

Injector return nipples (daisy chained toward front with small hose - rearmost nipple needs a cap - frontmost nipple, both banks, goes to hard line, via more small hose) ==> return line T ==> tank

If you have dual tanks, with a tank selector valve, you will need the Diesel valve. It must be routed properly, or you'll have serious running problems, and/or be pumping from one tank and returning to the other. Could be messy.
