Sending unit replacement

has anyone replaced the fule sending unit? What is the best way to do it?

Drop the tank, or lift the bed. Your choice. It's easier to lift the bed, if you have the facility. I use an old oak tree and 4 ratchet straps. It's easier (and safer) with some help.
