Some common situations:
1) Sometimes local parts stores don't have the O-rings that are needed for the Robert Shaw 330 series.
2) The thermostats work fine, but I have no idea how many times one can re-compress the seal around the t-stat, and I'd rather just put new ones on.
An answer:
Napa carries a stock of o-rings, and I have found their part number: 1093 is a factory fit on the RS 330 series as well as a GM 195. Cost is $1.00.
Another o-ring that work fairly well, but isn't as good as the previous is pn: C31273. It fits, and will work fine in a pinch. The cost is similar.
