2001 2500hd tranny problems

hi all,

have the above mentioned truck at work, had tranny service done, drove 3 miles, trucks wont go forward or reverse. nothing in 4wd or 4wd low.

i believe it has a 4L80 trans.......

threw a tranny pressure code ?

any ideas ?

Sounds like it was underfilled, needs to bleed (can take some time), the filter tube was damaged or not seated during install, or the filter was forgotten altogether.

tube and filter in place,

refilled to spec with gm tranny fuild.

almost like the pump is airlocked......

he s going to verify if pump is running today.

if not i guess out comes the tranny

todays update, after replacing pressure sensor, harness, tranny still has no movement at all. pump doesnt seem to run, short filled tranny, marked stick, ran truck, fluid at same level on stick.

is there a tranny pump relay somewhere perhaps ?

another strange thing, no reverse either, isnt reverse gear on gear ?

2900 bucks later, we re back on the road......rebuild tranny by jasper.
