inj pump install

Is it critical to have engine at TDC when installing new pump? Also, is there something online I could download regarding this install?

Hi there and welcome
It matters not where you have the engine when you install the IP.
The gears must be aligned correctly but other than that the IP will only go on one way.

If the engine is together and you are replacing the IP the gears will stay in the correct location.

Be sure and tuen the engine by hand only when the IP is off to make sure the gears dont get damaged due to misalignment while the IP is out.
