New PMD

My 1995 Silverado 2500 had a new PMD installed with a cooler 13 months ago with 277000 Km's and now with 297000 Km's has another PMD installed due to stalling once again. Can anyone tell me what the expectancy is on the PMD? I'm going back to the manufacturer to see if they will do anything for me.

Can't help you Doug, but just wondering what brand of PMD was the one that failed???

I believe it's made by Stanadyne.

Good luck with that. I think that 35000 was tha average life , depending how many 'heat cycles' it sees. I try and re tighting the screws and smoe heat sink compound. Order a new Dtech and mount it, keep the old for a spare or order one from Heath, with 7 yr. warranty.
