I used to have an '01 LB7 and the oil pressure was almost always at about 70-80 psi while driving. I've noticed that my '07 LMM is at about 65 cold, 40 driving at 2k rpm, and 25 at idle. These numbers are much lower than on the LB7. Are you guys at about the same pressures?

Sounds normal, and healthy. The indicated oil pressure was reduced on later engine models.

My 08 LMM runs the same pressures, have 18K miles and no issues

The 07 LBZ also runs at a lower pressure indicator reading than the LBZ. As stated, normal ops.

Hi,

My 2009 with about 11k miles on it runs a bit over 30 psi while towing my fifth wheel. This seems low to me considering the load.

Anyone have a view on that?

That's the exact oil pressure I have on my 2009 Sierra, towing a 12K fifth wheel. That may appear to be low, however lower readings are a characteristic of later DMax engines.
