Oil Filter Adapter Plate

I recently discovered that i was leaking oil from around the oil filter adapter plate. I found a new "O" ring and am getting ready to replace it.
I have 2 questions _

Does anyone know what size socket i need to get the plate off ?

and ...

Is there a specific torque setting to tighten it to after the replacement ?

47 lbft to tighten it, I think the socket may be 1 3/8", or more likely a near metric equivalent. I don't have a socket that big, so just used a big crescent wrench, which works in a pinch, but is far from the ideal tool.

30mm is the size.
