My aircraft tug recently made it home and will not start? From what I hear, it does turn over though. So, what would cause this? I know, I know, that is a pretty vague question. But I am only looking for any common problems I should look for. I will be home on R&R hopefully soon and I do not want to spend a lot of time on this. To my understanding, if the engine turns over and is getting fuel it should start. Am I correct, or is there more to it with these old 6.2’s?

Fuel system and/or glow plug system, in an otherwise healthy engine. Are you trying to troubleshoot this remote control (from afar)? It could have other issues, but it's usually a simple fix. Here's a good place to start (http://www.thedieselpage.com/members/memex2.htm) (pun intended).

Do you have a TDP subscription (https://thedieselpage.com/form.htm)? If so, we'll get the pages to you, one way or another. If not, you really should consider it if you plan on wrenching these old things. There's a wealth of info, dating back back more than 12 years, that's not on the BB forum.

I was not aware of such a thing. I do plan to run this 6.2 and others some day. I also have a 6.5 biuld in mind for when I get home.
