I have no information on this company, but I do have an observation about their website. Scroll to the bottom and there is a nice blue chev with a non-diesel front bumper....interesting.

I'm leery of any business that doesn't tell me the physical address of the joint on the website.
Shop for a Reviva rebuilt long block. That way, you'll be sure your getting the genuine article.
Kennedy has them for 5399.00. I bought mine from him last year just because I knew I wouldn't have to wonder where the block came from. It's the real deal AMG/Navistar thing. No hokus pokus.

Come to think of it, I think I remember something about these guys. They are actually just drop shipping these engines from some generally shady characters in New York.
Read this thread, then ask the guy if he is associated with International Diesel. http://thedieselpageforums.com/tdpforum/showthread.php?t=29836&highlight=international+diesel+6.5
I read more on the site and saw that he is in Bostic, NC. If his "shop" is in NC, then why are the shipping rates based on the distance from the North East US.
Tell him you have a friend in Charlotte that wants to come by and see the "shop". Report back to us on how that conversation goes.
I did read a few reviews from people who had good luck with this guy back when I was doing my research. I think it's just the luck of the draw...You might get a good one, you might get a piece of junk.
This thread from The Diesel Place should give you the scoop.

I'll say it again...Shop for Reviva. It's a slam dunk reliable block.

LewisShop for reviva rebuild long block [genuine article]
Says Who.
1] If it is rebuild there are gonna be used parts in it, and machining done on it.
2] i dont think they would use used parts in a brandnew AMG block.
3] there cant be that many AMG engines out there that need a rebuild allready if they are claimed to be that good,to satisfy the demand.
So i am inclined to believe that these [genuine AMG/navistar longblocks] sport chinese casted blocks, heads and possible cranks. the valves and covers, cam and rods, gears, timingcover and pan used. rest may or may not be new.
they are prob good blocks, but genuine american made? i doubt it. Not for that price.
prove me wrong.

LewisExactly. I went to their website. Nowhere is stated GENUINE AMG/NAVISTAR in their advertisement.
All it says is just, NEW blocks, heads and cranks.+ remanufactored engines.
The aftermarked 506 blocks with navistar logo in vally[diamond] are casted and machined in china,as are heads and cranks.A block,2 heads,1 crank can be had for under 2 grand total.
You did not research deep enough. I did, can prove it too.

This is what Kennedy has to say about them...
"We've been selling the Franklin/Powrbilt/Reviva engines for several years now. Yes they are legit castings and have been stone reliable."
Please raise your hand if Kennedy has ever led you astray.
My engine does not look like the one in your photograph. Navistar logo in a different place, oriented differently, and the one on my block is much bigger.
I'm convinced that I have a new AMG block and heads with a rebuilt crank. Some of the other stuff is new, some of the other stuff is rebuilt. No amount of incoherent typing on your part will be ale to convince me otherwise, so let's just agree to disagree on this one.
Cheers mate,
Lewis
OK , point taken ,you got a true AMG block then,if it looks different. I just wanted to make you aware that there are many a rebuilder around that use these chinese castings. i have no problem with that,as long as people are upfront with that.
politicians lie all the time, and people still fall for it time and again,no diff with salesman.
i bought from Kennedy one time,no engine though, no problems with him at all.
now where did i become incoherent?

Well thanks for the education. I did call him and sure enough - he ships them from NY and was very uninterested in having me stop by his place on my upcoming trip to NC. That settles it for me.
Thanks again!

Boy I sure get sick of this crap. There's an old addage: If it seems too good to be true...
You can't do legit 6.5 marine injectors cheap.
A cheap 6.5 reman is almost undoubtedly junk.
There's vendors, scammers etc on every corner looking for a guy trying to get a cheap engine...
FYI, Reviva just had to add a surcharge to all of their engines to help offset rising costs.
surplus engines, test engines, crate engines
