Hey everyone,

I have been posting on here about strange engine reving, and also loosing power on the highway at times. After I changed my fuel filter the problem went away...or so i thought. Well the truck bogged down on the highway once again, so i took it into the dealer this time. After an hour or two of looking at it, they called and said that the truck failed the Fuel Injector test. So as a result, they are replacing all 8 of the injectors. (Little did I know it, I had a month left on my fuel injector warrenty. I hope this fixes the problem. I know that good and clean fuel is the key to a good running truck. Does anyone have any suggestions on what kind of fuel filter I should use? Also, i have been reading about secondary fuel filters on trucks. Is that a very hard instalation or not? And if there are any articles on how to install, I would be interested in reading them. Basically, I just dont want to have to pay $5000 for 8 new injectors after my warrenty is up. Thanks for reading, and also for the help.

Check out www.lubricationspecialist.com. There are a lot of good products, I like how this is mounted.

ok thanks for the links guys. It says in the instructions on mounting that pre 2004, might take a little modifying with the lines. What exactly am I going to have to do to get this thing installed on a 2001 when it comes to modifying? Also, with the instructions, is this before the lift pump? Thanks
