Drain plug on NV 4500

Am I just blind, or is there not a drain plug for my 5 speed manual. The only way it looks to me is to pull off one of the PTO cover plates. Can someone enlighten me. On another note, will Amsoil 80-90 work or should one stay with the Castrol Syntorq?

On my 93 it's on the passenger side beside and below the PTO cover right were the 5th gear housing is mated to the 4speed. It is quite big. tongue.gif

My 94 you just pull one of the lower bolts from the PTO cover....... :eek:

Thanks, I got it. I started to take off the PTO cover and low and behold out come the oil from the bottom bolt hole. Sure seems to shift better with fresh oil.
