can anyone tell me why i would be getting this code. it only happens when i start the truck and even then maybe once out of 20 times,at the same time i get a p1781 code which jim explained to me the other day. at first i thought it was a freak thing but now its happening more often,truck runs fine but that light is annoying. thanx
Which truck are we dealing with here? Are you sure that the code is P0463? This has to do with the fuel level sender circuit.
sorry forgot to mention its the 01 lb7. fuel gauge has been messed up since i bought the truck in 02 but never tripped a ses light till last week at least for that reason. double checked and that is the correct code.
