Vacuum pump install

I just received a complete remaned vacuum pump assembly. Other then useing assembly lube on the gears, should I pre-oil it prior to install? The 6.2 is a military take out and will most likely not fire right up. (my luck anyway)

85 Toyota FJ60 soon to be powered by 6.2, 700R4
93 6.5TD X-cab 2wd 4l80e

The new pump should be lubed when it was rebuilt.
These have needle bearings on the top and bottom of the shaft so it should be fine.

The lube on the gear is a good idea.
