ok, i resolved my boost problem i had to re- surface the flapper valve and face, i now have up to 7 #'s of boost. next problem i can not get the timing below 10 degrees btc. i just pulled the cover off and double checked the timing marks and they are right on. my tdc is at -.03(is that correct?) after that i am at a loss, it is running better now but still sluggish and blowing alot of black smoke, not as bad though when the turbo is kicked in. any and all suggestions apreciated. thanks in advance rob p.s did some more reading i am going to check for a resistor tomorrow, as i am a new owner to this truck and it had a bad crank when i got it
