I have a '92 2500 regular cab long bed with a mostly stock engine. I'm looking for a place to buy a 3" downpipe and a 4" straight exhaust, no muff no cat. I'd go to the exhaust shop that i normally use to just bend me up one but they dont do 4". I'm not looking to spend to much, this is my new plow truck and i just want something straight and simple.

I'm pretty new to the 6.5L engines, always had powerstrokes, but couldnt pass up this deal. Anybody have any good tips, suggestions, or things to look out for with this engine? Want to keep it reliable but strong at the same time. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks fella's...

www.kennedydiesel.com (http://www.kennedydiesel.com) or www.dieselperformance.com (http://www.dieselperformance.com) each sell 3" mandrel-bent 6.5 downpipes and 4" exhaust systems. I'd guess each of them would do a muffler delete and include a straight section of pipe to take its place.

Just installed a 3" down pipe into 4" on my 1993 gmc k2500 4x4 reg cab longbed...got it from www.ssdieselsupply.com it went on great, fits just fine...very happy. There are cheaper systems on ebay, but not by that much. I've been looking on e bay for a long time, finally bought this system. I did not buy the eliminator pipe. It came with a straight through muffler.
