'06 Lbz, Egr Code P046c

Hello, got my first service engine light today, 18,000 miles. The code I scan is P046C and my AUTOXRAY Scanner reports it as "Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor "A" Range/Performance.
Anyone have any experience with this code? Can you give me some advice where to start?

Should I reset it and see if it just wasn't a fluke? Thanks.

First they'll do a bunch of software upgrades then they'll replace the EGR valve....

That sounds encouraging. NOT!! Truck is running fine, I don't need any software upgrades. Guess I don't have much choice.

my lbz along with a buddys lbz did the same code , but just once.... reset and it never came back......

gremlins imo......

I also did a reset, my Code came back. I'm scheduled on the 07th at the dealer.
