Yep...
I was pumped up to take my Burb on my camping trip, and the dang power steering went bye bye and shredded the serpintine belt (shaft and pulley come right out of the pump).
I'm glad it happened last night and not on the trip with the camper.
I'm researching replacing the thing myself... I also got a quote from a family owned shop that drives 3- 6.5's themselves... He will charge around 320.00... What do you think? Does that sound right? Spend the dough or bust knuckles?
For now its the fricken gas guzzler... The whole reason I bought the Burb was to avoid pumpin gas on this trip... Oh well. I cant get this thing fixed in time.
