After 2 days in a shop my regular Tech could not find the problem. He said take it to the GMC dealer I just don’t know what is happening.
The GMC dealer found the problem. It was a defective fuel filter-housing top. It was not leaking fuel but allowed it to suck air in the filter losing its fuel prime. The GMC dealer said they have seen this problems many times before. Cost me $405 dollars to fix at the dealer, not sure what I owe at the regular shop yet. I was told this was a partial warranty repair. My truck has 108,380 on it the warranty is 100K so I was just over the warranty.
Hope this helps some one else.
