I have a 2007.5 2500 truck and it is grate till i drive slow on the mountan roads and the reburner clogs up and puts me in limp. I have been stuck in the mountans several times with a trailer and horses and can't pull out of the trail head. Im not much for costom work and the truck has all in need when it is runing good but this reburner is giving me trouble. any thoughts? thanks
We have "test pipes" or full exhaust systems, but of course these are for off road use only and the risk of getting caught goes with you. That said, once removed a bunch of codes come up. What my customers have done is to let me know what exhaust mods have been done when they order my Kennedy Custom tuning and I can take care of the diagnostic side.
I have several running with the filter still in place w/o issue, but I try to impress upon them that if/when it loads up I don't expect to be blamed as guys like you have proven that it happens to stock trucks.
