I do not tow heavy trailers often as most of my goods are on the lighter side.
Boat 4K Dump trailer 6K. Now & then pull a buddies 8/10K skid steer combo
I had to beat the rain for a dig on one of my jobs, 84 miles round trip high way and stop and go mix, and towed a rented, @ just less then 10K mini ex/trailer combo. Saftey check @ the rental place was done but shortly there after the breaks on the trailer are not working. Long story short, the truck handled it like it was not even pulling half what I was. Tow/haul mode did 90% of the breaking. I have done this before with 2500HD's, 3500's, 250/350's/ , but I have never felt the stability or control that I did with this set up.
