I'm starting to get together the required components to carry a spare PMD and cooler. I have a hard time paying what they are asking for some extruded or CNC'd hunk of aluminum. I do understand the cost to either extrude or CNC time though
Anyhow I found this place PMDCooler.com, they have increased fin size to I think 2 inches with a 1/4 inch thick base. It comes with all the pieces and parts to mount a PMD.
Just curious if anybody has purchased or seen one of these units
As an aside I think I'm going with a D-Tech PMD, any thoughts. It sounds like those with them have positive things to say so far. It does sound like the jury will be out on these in regard to longevity though.
