Everyone in Minnesota does - a small blend, anyway.

Are you referring to B-100?

I am looking into making some biodiesel but I don't know how much can be used in the 01-02 LB7 . $4.50 A Gal is killing me .

Thanks DMAXED

I can tell you that in 07.5 and on, B99 or B100 confuses the regen cycle. At least that is what the dealer was telling me was why I kept getting the clean exhaust filter message that wouldn't clear (even after driving 60 miles straight at highway speeds). (Simple and quick explanation)

The dealer did say that it was no problem for the motor and two of their techs that drove diesel used B99 in their classic trucks without a problem. One of their techs gets his B99 at the same place I do/did as I ran into him fillng up his truck.

I've since gone back D2 in the truck. The Jetta TDI still burns B99....

If you can make it or buy it you should. IMHO. Its the best Lubricate and cleaner for the fuel system that there is available. So there for you should install a secondary fuel filter to catch the debris from your tank that was deposited there by the diesel that you were burning. I have been burninng B100 for 7000 miles and one filter change with great results.

Hi there, I am in England and I use my own Bio made in my own Distiller.
You guys are lucky, OUR diesel is GBP5.60 per Gal (roughly over 11.00 USD)
my own Bio costs me GBP 0.60 (1.20 USD).

Holy cow... That is expensive fuel my friend... I couldn't afford to work if fuel was $11 a gallon.

As it is most people I know are cuting way back on extra expenses like eating out because the fuel is at $4 / Gal.
