License plate lamp holder

Hey,
I broke one of my License plate lamp holders and don't want to go to the stealer if I don't have too. The part number on the unit is 1007716, it is on a '05 2500HD. Thanks:)

www.gmpartsdirect.com (http://gmpartsdirect.com/) has a few options, varying from $11-30 (look under "rear lamps"). Depends on what part of it you need. You might also try Napa. They are all the same from 1999 - 2007, as long as the bumper is the same type (step or no step).

Thanks for helping find that part, they had exactly what I needed, but $35 + shipping, I think I'll rig it, I just broke off one side. Thanks again!

This isn't lamp holder related, but it is lamp related. My daytime running lights won't stay burning. They burn out rather quickly. I just replaced another one this weekend. Is there a replacement lamp that will last longer than the recommended 4114K bulb? I have tried a 4114LL (long life) and that is a joke too. Ed
