found this on the sacramento craigslist
i talked to the guy this morning and he just wants it gone
he used to use the d-page i don't know if he was a member or not
Full size, fairly beat up GMC jimmy, could fix up a little, or part out for profit.
Ive got $900 barely used Toyo 33"x12.5" tires with almsot new tread.
Tires are on Aluminum rims that I bought for $250 used once, they look good on it.
4" lift kit very few miles on this thing since I installed that.
Got a bolt on roll bar I haven't installed yet.
Ive got an 6.2 diesel engine in it I paid $600-$700 for from a tow yard, which I threw in there and got running briefly only to learn that the freeze plugs were all crusty and need replacement, I didnt damange the engine any though, I literaly ran it for like 1 minute just to see that it did run.
That engine replaces the engine that blew up on me because a wing nut fell down the intake, which was a fantastic engine I rebuilt, so it still has lots of good new parts on it, the injector pump, the injectors, perhaps 1 or both heads. The cylinder wall is messed up from the wing nut getting sucked in there.
In the Jimmy, I have an SM465 4 speed (3 + granny gear).
bolted on to that I have an NP205, all iron gear driven Transfer case.
On the side, I have a spare perfectly working rebuilt NP208 aluminum chain driven transfer case, a turbo350 auto tranny, which was very new when I replaced it with the manual tranny, but I dont know its workiing condition as it was giving me some trouble which I didn't look into because I wanted a manual in it at the time.
I also have another, 2nd, spare SM465.
Also lots of other random various pare pieces to the automatic trannys, and engine, like tranny shells, heads, intakes, injectors, I have a intercooler for the auto transmission too, and a big K&N air filter for the engine.
There is no interior, pretty much except for the seats. I inteded to use this truck mostly as a bare bones 4 wheeler and tree basher, so I reipped everythign out and rhino lined the inside.
I would reccomend interest in this vehicle only if you want to get it up an running and spend alittle more time and money on it and go mudding or tree bashing with it for fun, or better yet, tow it away and part it out and sell these parts individually for a decent profit. I figure parted out these items woudl bring in $1500 or more.
Oh, I also replaced the front autolockign Hubs with tuff Warn manual hubs.
rear end was rebuilt, rear driveshaft is new cause I had to have to shortened to fit the SM465 and NP205 in the truck.
Front drive shaft is not on there yet, It will need to be shortened as well to fit. Also needs some kind of linkage crafted to shift the np205 in and out of 4x4 and 4x2.
It is in Cool, CA, near Auburn, CA in the foothills at my parents house, and they want it gone asap and I don;t have any time to work on it or play with it anymore now that I live and work in sacramento. I will miss my jimmy dearly.
$500 is a good deal for the tires alone. just take this thing away from me. (916) 752-7034 -Tommy
