View Full Version : mud flaps
Just curious what you all are running for mud flaps on your trucks. I am currently looking at husky mud flaps from JK. I have seen some other posts on other sites about paint wearing behind the flaps. Any comments would be appreciated.
thanks
I’ve had a set of Huskies on my 03 since it was new and haven’t noticed any wear on the paint. They came with some 3M protective film but I didn’t use it. They do fit a bit loose and could rub the paint a bit. .. I also extended mine for more protection..

Folks here also have good things to say about Kaydenco (http://www.kaydenco.com/) too.
Do a search on “mud flap” in this forum for more info …

I can't help but wonder how much mud flaps decreate your fuel mileage? I don't have any and don't have need for them, but I'm just curious if anyone has some history to share. Ed

Kaydenco flaps. None better. There are several threads here about this topic and Kaydenco.
For the for mileage concern... please...
However, each to their own.
