The other night I got home with DaHooooley and pulled up in front of the barn to feed the ponies.
I smell diesel fairly strong when I got out of the truck so I have a peek under the hood and run the flashlight beam down the injector return lines and then have a look in the valley, Hmm Nothing.

A further inspection revealed that the shut off solenoid was leaking at the top (OLD STYLE with crimped in insert and allen socket)
The fuel was a little mist that was spraying back across the top of the IP and making a mess as well as a fire hazard.

Stopped off to see a friend here in town that has a little diesel shop and got a good used solenoid (New style with a closed top end and a hex to remove it)

Seems that the early style solenoids were prone to leaking.
My 94 has the new style but the older pump.

Easy task to change other than having to pull the air hat off the manifold so I could get to the wiring to unplug the solenoid.
Probably no more than 20 minutes total including puting the tools away.

If anyone is getting a rebuilt pump and it comes with the old style shutoff, make sure to have the seller swap the new style solenoid in.

All is well now and the leaky one is holding down the trash can. :D

Just a tid bit
