Bench Testing DS-4 pumps

Has anyone ever had their pump bench tested before? How much did it cost? Is it worth it to get tested? The reason I ask is I got one from a friend for the FSD that works fine... I have tested it but I am curious if the pump is any good.

I got one off Ebay w/intent of doing that to qualify it as a spare. Local Stanadyne rebuilder would do it for about $100 (they do that after rebuilding).
As it turned out the Ebay pump was ginding when you turned the flange by hand, so he didn't run his test fluid thru it & risk contaminating his test machine.

Yes. I had one I bought on EBay tested at Gommers in Mossula for $115 with a printout of the test.

I just got home from talking to the stanadyne dealer here in town and says it will be $180cdn to test the pump but if I can leave it with him for a bit it will be considerably less if he has another to test so I think that I will take it down and leave it with him....save a few $$$ since I don't need to know right away...
