Looks sharp! What do the toggles and LEDs do?

Tony J - The upper toggle will turn off the pod's instrument lights if they're too distracting at night. The middle toggle is a Lo / Hi idle switch, and the LED reminds me that it's on . The bottom toggle is for the Cheap TCC Lockup switch - adding 50 ohms into the TFT sensor circuit - the LED is to remind me that it's on. Was a RED led, but by the time I got done Futzing with it, the legs broke of, and I had to use another color.

ttpost - it was actually a basic black Autometer 3 gauge pod - got mine from Gomer's diesel with the gauges, but they're available from other advertizers, or SummitRacing dot com has a full line. Got Red Paint? I got luckyon the Grey almost matching.

Note - I did trim most of the narrow bottom tail off to ease the fitting.
Edit note 2 - BTW, Thinking I should have put the boost gauge at the botttom,a nd the Tranny temp at the top, but too late now.

Looks good. I couldn't tell that it wasn't made from a matching interior material. What paint did you use, did you have it color matched or just guess on the right color? My future plans include a pillar pod in a gray interior as well and I would just like to know if you have any tips, tricks, or suggestions about the painting.

Thanks

rlvelin - I got the paint at Brown's auto- NAPA on Harrison. In the back door, straight down that isle, on the right. Off the shelf paint for vinyl, etc. Was thinking of using grey primer, but glad I didn't cheap out there. I wiped it down with de-natured alcohol to get the greasy fingerprints off before I painted- didn't think acetone would be a good choice. Multiple really light coats, btw.
