I have noticed that my 07 LBZ makes more noise that other duramaxs, is this a sign that I should get it into the stealership, my fuel economy hasn't seemed to have dropped off any, it's most noticeable under hard acceleration

A lot of variables can affect the diesel combustion rattle produced by a diesel engine. The ambient temperature, fuel cetane rating and general fuel quality, injection timing, and many other mechanical differences can all affect the sounds produced by these engines on a day to day basis.
If you have one or two poorly performing injectors, you should be able to hear an odd beat to the rhythm to the sounds. Whether due to injectors or some other non-normal issue, if you think it sounds bad, I'd get it into the dealer. Generally, if an owner needs to ponder the question, there usually isn't a problem.
