Diesel Exhaust smell in cab!?

Ok this is my first diesel truck I must admit, but is it supposed to smell like diesel in the truck?

Anyone have this problem or is my crap leakin!? I especially notice it with the AC or Heat on.

do you have a stick if so mine was doing that after i had the carpet loose to run some stereo wires turns out i didn't have all the screws in the boot and after i did the clutch i noticed i was short a couple of screws ,put them in and no smell anymore.

I had that diesel smell in the cab also when I bought my truck. Also an exhuast leak could be barely heard when road/engine noise was at a minimum. The problem was the clamp which holds the downpipe onto the turbo was loose allowing exhaust gas to escape there and enter the intake for the heater/ac. It took about 5 min with a deep socket to fix.

I had this come apart once already. Seems yet another design flaw. I havent chcked it recently but it appears that it mayabe came loose yet again.
