I just finished installing a Banks turbo on my '86 M1009 K5 Blazer w/o the muffler. Took it for a test drive and it is a total dog. Boost is 5lbs max. Before install it was stock and ran great, now total lack of power. Where should I start looking for problems. Fuel lift pump is less than a year old and fuel filter is 3 months old. Truck fires up and idles fine, just drives like it has a 4 cylinder in there.

Have you adjusted the fuel metering screw to increase fuel?

It should run the same as before with less smoke on full throttle with no adjustment on the IP.
Just wondering, with the banks setup the return oil from the turbo goes into the liftpump hole with an adapter right? did you put in the longer pushrod tocompensate for the adapter?

Maybe you can give us more clue's like smoke black or white, EGT's fuel feed pressure? it might help to find the problem.
What about the air filter was the setup new or used?
