Rattle when warm

I have started to notice a rattle or knock even when the engine is at temp and going down the road. It sounds just like a gasser pinging on bad gas.

It starts better than fine, even when cold, but could it be an injector having issues?

Injectors are the usual suspect. How many miles/time on them?

Could also be a slight timing issue. Where is your timing? TDCO? Miles/time on your timing set?

Don't rule out "bad gas", either. Could be fuel quality. Trying a good "injector cleaning" additive for a couple tankfuls wouldn't hurt.

I have put more than 100,000 miles on it and I have not touched the injectors or the timing.
