T-STAT LOCATION

Can anyone tell me where the T-stat is located and how to change it. I have a 97 1500 6.5T.

Howdy
your rig probably has two thermostats. They are located in the crossover pipe that the upper radiator hose connects to. It has been my experiencethat the Delco stats are the best but there is also something to be said for Robertshaw brand. Hope this helps....
