Power Window Switch Lights

Anyone know where I can get the tiny lights that fit into the power window/lock switches that are in the door panel armrest? These are the ones that light up the window and lock switches in the door. 95 GMC extended cab Sierra. Thanks.

Ahh yes, the little oddball bulbs that you cant buy unless you buy the switch, :rolleyes:. Local gm stealer said they are unavailable, so I just went to the wrecker and got some. Maybe an aftermarket like lmc would sell them.

Exactly. My dealer brought two out - neither fit. I guess it is off to the wrecker to see what I can see. Thanks.

Try Radio Shack.

With a little surgery I removed the lamp from the socket. Looks like Radio Shack might have a 12v lamp that will work - depends on the wires. What do you think about going with LED instead? I've not used them before so I don't know what to look for, like color and wattage, etc.

On my 02 the bulb for the a/c burned out.
found a 12v mini at Radio Shack, two little solder joints and all is well.

I found the bulbs for the driver side switch at LMC. I found the 12 v mini at Radio Shack that I can use in the pass side. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Here are the GM part numbers for the power lock/window bulbs:

Drivers side power window switch bulb (bigger bulb): 12383436
Drivers side power lock switch bulb (smaller bulb): 12383437

Pass. side power window/lock switch bulb: 12384504

The GM part number for the illumination bulbs (4) in the heater assembly switch is: 7895189

This is for a 95 GMC K2500 with power windows and locks.
