Someone gave me a bunch of FSD's, removed from
IP rebuilds,
Been testing them to see how many are 'real' bad,
running them about 200 miles,
have not been testing them with a resister,
no problems untill I let the battery's go dead.
( left the AC converter on )
anyway, got the 1218 code on start up, cleared it several times, still got the code, switched back to normal FSD ( with resister ) all is well.
The low batteries caused the PMD to loose the
resiter value, than the PMD failed the test that checks for the resister. Just as the book states,
Wonder how many other 'values' are lost when
batteries are low/dead?????
